The stars
celio
Celio is five years old, allergic to nuts and best friends with every animal in the world and most plants too (he’s not that keen on red pepper or thyme, though). His first word was ball bug. He likes peeking into all sorts of places to keep watch, even though nobody really knows what he’s watching, which automatically makes him the best watchman imaginable. When he grows up, he wants to be a chihuahua, a dinosaur vet, a street sweeper or a watchman.
melkam
Melkam is as fast as light. She was in a strop for two weeks when she found out her surname is Rodríguez and not Supersonic or Stratospheric. She says walking is just the slow version of running. She likes football, swimming, fencing, winter sports, badminton, ping-pong and shooting stars. She once raced against a star and won. When she made a wish, she wished her surname were Supersonic.
matías
Matías is so nice that he’s never stopped growing because he needs room for a heart filled with so many good vibes. But there was so much space that fear sneaked in too: fear of frights, aliens and Minecraft villagers. Things with hoods are his absolute favourite. That way he can hide without having to go anywhere because he loves just being there, preferably close to his mates.
nara
Nara dances whenever there’s music, which is always because there’s always something playing in her head. She believes everything in life can turn into a song if you put a little bit of effort into it. Sometimes it’s tum-pa, tutum-tum-pa. Other times it’s lo-lo-lo-lo-lo-looooo-lo. If she could magically turn into anything, she says she’d become a dancing capybara or a dance teacher for capybaras.

shoes since 1968
At Garvalín, we’ve spent decades supporting children’s development while respecting how they really are: creative, spontaneous and sometimes chaotic. That’s why we created just kidding, a musical series that looks at the world through their logic, not ours, to remind us of something pretty obvious that we sometimes forget: the world is amazing when we see it the way they do.
